There are books you pick up because the title intrigues you.
And then there are books you pick up because you are a fundamentally optimistic person who believes: “Surely this won’t be as bad as the last one.” (Also, it’s available for free in the Audible Plus catalogue, so how bad could it be?)
That confidence did not age well!

In John Marrs' 'Keep it in the Family', the thrills are thrilling and the crimes are chilling. And, yet, it was a letdown. There's a special place in hell for books that accumulate every single hackneyed trope imaginable. This book made me very angry and I need to vent.
